Our first music lesson

Maya said "today we learned how to be a musisian." "This means we have to be focused and be able to remember a lot of things" said sam. Nikita said "you need to keep in time." Mayson learned that you need to sing nicely - do your best. Edward found you have to keep in rhythm with the rest of the band. Mike  said "you have to read the music to know what to do. It is a way of recording your ideas like in writing."

Buddy Time

We finished the week with our first visit with our little buddies. It was very exciting for the children as they are the big kids now! We are all buddied up within the houses too so when we go to sports events we will already have support in our houses. It was fun to just sit around and read together and chat so we can begin to get to know each other.

Global School Play Day

First post of the day. 9.25 and there ares everal groups spreada cross the two classrooms. Kids building, kids playing games, kids on their own, kids learning new games, kids sharing. What a nice atmosphere.
